The green ridges of the Serres de Llevant Mountains stretch out along almost of the entire south-east coast. The fertile hilly region is known for its colorfulness and together with Binissalem, it is the largest wine producing area of the island. It is here, where you can´t miss to encounter the icon of Majorca – the large wind mills with their colorful wings.
From prosperous, beautiful Porto Colom with its scenic natural harbor, the picturesque old town and the impressive harbor promenade with elegant restaurants, the fascinating landscape stretches out across the quaint Moorish town Felanitx on to Santanyi, which is famous for its colorful market days on one of the most beautiful market places of the island. Further highlights include the romantic fisherman´s town Cala Figuera embedded into the Nature Park Mondrago and the area of the salterns of Colónia de Sant Jordy with its famous dream beach Es Trenc, often referred to as Majorca´s Caribbean beach. Along the way, you will also pass the bustling seaside town of Cala d´Or, with its renowned yacht harbor and Ibizan-style buildings and houses.
